Janette is the Director of Sales and the General Manager of the Riverwoods Conference Center. She joined our team in August of 2016 when she moved to Cache valley from South Carolina. Although she lived in South Carolina for 15 years, her roots are in Colorado, where she grew up with her identical twin, and she is a huge Broncos fan. She has two awesome sons and one daughter-in-law. When she isn't at work, she is hiking, camping, gardening, watching the Broncos, or spending time with her family.
Shirlene Davis is the Director of Sales for Springhill Suites by Marriott and also works with Riverwoods Conference Center on corporate accounts, joining the staff there in 2012. A Cache Valley native, Shirlene spent a decade outside of the valley before realizing that Cache Valley has everything any person could wish for.
Shirlene spent more than two decades of her career in the Real Estate industry, working for 15 years as a land title Escrow Officer. Attention to detail was a must in escrow work, and Shirlene has brought that same attention to detail to the hospitality industry. Shirlene currently serves on the Cache Valley Lodging Association Board as Vice President, as well as a board member with the Cache Chamber of commerce.
In her spare time Shirlene is an avid gardener, and currently resides in Nibley with her husband Karl.
Jen has been the Banquet Manager at the Riverwoods Conference Center since December 2017. She loves people and tends to get a long with them very well; which helps her excel in her position here. She has lived in Cache Valley her whole life and loves the outdoors! She loves to go camping, boating and fishing with her family.
Taylor Webb is an event coordinator and has been with the Riverwoods since March of 2017. Her favorite thing about working at the Riverwoods is getting to know her clients and working closely with them. She thoroughly enjoys seeing everyone having a great time when the event comes together. She is a senior at Utah State University majoring in Communications and minoring in Sociology. She loves being involved on campus, and is currently a member of the school’s Blue Crew, a group of students who help to plan and execute a number of the events held on campus every semester. When she’s not at work or school she is either at the yoga studio, or in her kitchen practicing her baking skills. She has a special place in her heart for all things England after studying abroad there, which sparked a love for travel and constantly has her researching where in the world to go next.
Mary Morris can give you unprecedented service as an event coordinator do the fact she is related to Zeus, God of Thunder (according to an online family history site, and you know you can trust everything on the internet). She just graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Hospitality & Tourism. She has also traveled to 25 of the 50 states as well as 5 other countries. It is her goal to travel to all 50 states with her wonderful husband. Her favorite part about working at Riverwoods is having the opportunity to get funny pictures of her coworkers to hang on the wall.
Cindy Lake has been an Event Coordinator with Riverwoods since May 2017. She started as a part-time intern and then transitioned to full time in December 2017. Cindy has always loved planning parties and spent her allowance on party planning books and supplies when she was still in Elementary school. She met her husband, Tyler, in her 7th grade Social Studies class. They started dating in high school and were married after graduation. The military decided their fate over the next 20 years, which led to living in several states and countries, traveling, meeting the Queen of England, and making many life-long friends along the way. After retiring from the military they decided to move back home to Cache Valley with their four children and two dogs. Cindy recently obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from BYU-Idaho and aspires to run her own Events Center someday. Cindy spends her free time "reading" audio books, scrapbooking, and making greeting cards. She loves Mountain Dew, chocolate, her cute blue Mini Cooper, and relaxing on the beach with a good book.
Jessica Roberts is the receptionist at The Riverwoods. She is 29 with two beautiful girls and is the proud owner of a fluffy fur ball German Shephard that is well loved! She grew up in Smithfield and just moved her and her girls back home last spring. She's rocking the single Mom life with her kids and is so glad she was able to find a job working as a receptionist at the Riverwoods Conference Center. Her favorite part of working here is the atmosphere as well as all the wonderful people she works with and meets. She loves helping people so it’s the perfect job for her! She also loves being artistic, so being able to help decorate for events or get centerpieces ready just makes her day!
